Washington DC – Holy Trinity Migrant Team / Migrant Familia
In the midst of a charged national debate on migration, the Holy Trinity Migrant Team / Migrant Familia provides sanctuary, guidance, and advocacy for displaced families arriving in Washington DC. Since 2017, the organization has welcomed families from 13 countries, offering support, accompaniment, and a sense of belonging to those navigating the challenges of resettlement.
In 2025, The PhotoBridge Project worked with Agnès Dherbeys to document the work of this extraordinary community. Her images show the power of human connection, solidarity, and shared purpose — families and volunteers coming together to transform vulnerability into dignity, hope, and opportunity.
The photographs reveal moments of intimacy, daily life, and mutual support, reflecting both the struggles and triumphs of migrants as they adapt to a new country, and the unwavering commitment of community members who stand beside them.
About the Holy Trinity Migrant Team / Migrant Familia
